My approach is based on the search for a moment of spontaneity, uncertainty, a moment of connection with a look, communication without words, a reaction without prior agreement ...
Black And White
At the beginning photography was monochromatic, starting from the old masters of photographic (al)chemistry and continuing for decades after that. For some, it is simply incredible that it has stood the test of time and continues in its greatest glory even today. By discovery of color photography, it seems b&w have experienced an additional momentum. It could be because it stood out from mass photography and was associated with authors who offer something special, different, which is not burdened by trends… If you take away the colors from the frame, the observer definitely focuses on the basic, traditional and well-known elements of photographic composition. Line, shape, geometry, abstraction, light, shadow, silhouette, texture, gain their true significance.
